The French seem to do it a lot!

Just saw the French film "A Very Long Engagement" and was truly blown away by its complex yet intriguing story and visuals. Why is it the French seem to get what a movie should be. It seems the modern Hollywood is too obsessed with making blockbusters or inane flickers. Ah for the old studio system where you had good stories and talented side characters.

As Maine Goes...Who Cares Right!

These ‘how to get’ or ‘how to act’ discourses regarding securing my rights are silly. I’m smarter, better educated, and quite frankly more civilized than a godly number of gay hating STR8's. I’m not going to haggle on how many rights they will permit me nor support those gay organizations that engage with homophobes in that inane stupidity! The new motto: the days of asking STR8's to give me anything are gone girlfriend. Now we take what is ours!

Can't fight City Hall

Today I went to renew my drivers license (they must be renewed every 5 yrs). The DMV* woman said she was going to use the same ID photo I took five years ago when I got my license renewed back then. She said, "honey you look the same so why waste time on a reshoot"! Governments agree. I'm ageless lol.
